Great stuff. Filed with "listen up" and "visit with". It's as if Americans save letters by understandable shortenings like thru and color, but spend them on reckless verbiage instead

Loathsome. Repellent. The worst person I’ve ever worked for had a phase of using this bit or verbal garbage. It replaced ‘grip up’ in my personal hall of infamy.

I completely agree. Solve for? Solve what? Do you even understand the complexity of the problem to know it's non determanistic and bordering on wicked where there aren't solutions, just slightly better/worse decisions that immediatly shift the problem's location?
