This is tremendous.

No one reads business books because they all subscribe to the 10 minute summaries of the business books.

My solution to this is, when tempted (seldom), to check out the book from the library. I give it 5 minutes at home and if the skim is unremarkable, back it goes.

Money and time saved!

I think a good rule of thumb on skim vice buy is if you see it in a thrift store and it’s a business book it probably is a skim.
